Menopause symptoms is actually what makes menopausal stage of most women a miserable and a hard experience. Menopause is a natural process for a woman, and not indeed an illness. As a woman ages, there will be an expected slowing and ultimately shutdown in the reproductive cycle and system. Hence, this is actually normal.

Based on research, menopause is referred to with a certain date, the date of the day after a woman's last menstrual period ever finishes. The normal age range for a woman’s last period is between age 45 to 55, with the peak being at about age 51. Possible Ways to Ease the Menopause Symptoms

At present, many medical researches have said that menopause symptoms are related to estrogen control or sometimes progesterone deficiency. Both estrogen and progesterone are produced in the women's ovaries. After menopause, the production of estrogen falls to 40-60 percent of what it was originally. And the production of progesterone also declines to zero after menopause. And so, some says that by using supplementary natural progesterone, a woman can safely reduce or get rid of unwanted menopause symptoms.

Also, a therapy like hormone therapy is most likely to be effective in easing the menopause symptoms. It provides relief from hot flashes, and remains an effective treatment for osteoporosis. In this therapy, progesterone, estrogens, or other hormones are controlled in order to balance the body's own insufficiency for such hormones.

There are a number of medication and therapies used to ease and eliminate menopause symptoms. They are somehow useful to most women but they are also with various side effects. Every woman needs her own medication program. Most women do not need to have a clinical setting to find that personal solution. All they need to do is examine their condition, know what are their symptoms and if their symptoms are just mild, moderate, or severe. Then afterwards seek for a doctor’s help. After all, they are still the best persons to consult when it comes to health matters.
